About Masters Music:
Sandy Capra has been a teacher in Richland County, Ohio since 2000, has taught
both privately in her home and at The Richland Academy (in downtown
Mansfield), and teaches students of all ages.
Born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama, she began her piano training at the
age of six and studied under private tutors until her sophomore year of High
School where she was accepted into the Carver Creative and Performing Arts
Center, an educational option given to a selected number of students gifted in
the arts. There she entered an intensive three year program geared at piano
performance in all venues. She received scholarships from two college music
departments.
Sandy is a member of the Ohio Music Teachers' Association, and after completing
a year-long apprenticeship is now working for the Henderson Music Company in
Columbus, Ohio as their piano tuner/technician.
She is happily married and has two precious children in elementary school. She
enjoys people, music, and pianos and loves her job!
